The SaferCom program is guided by a 10-point action plan with the overarching aim of creating a comprehensive, community-driven security framework that bridges top-down and bottom-up approaches for sustainable peace and development.

To leverage technology and data-driven approaches to enhance community-level security monitoring and response.

Capital for security infrastructure development.

To support funding for physical security upgrades and assets at the community level.

Community Development hubs for security mobilization zones.

To create dedicated spaces and networks for community security activities and coordination.

Coordinate Corporate Partnerships to accelerate a National Security Infrastructure Tokens Initiative.

To engage the private sector to support security-enhancing technology and services.

Connect Community-based Citizen Marshalls Mobilization Program.

To empower and organize local community members as frontline security actors.

Communication Strategy for Sustainable Behavioural change through a citizens and security Agency Relations Program.

To raise awareness, support the change of mindsets, and strengthen community-police ties.
